Welcome to RuiDhaaga, a handcrafted, luxurious and artisan-led slow fashion brand built on authenticity, artistry, and trust. This Terms & Conditions Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of our website and related services (“Site”). By visiting, browsing, creating an account, or purchasing from RuiDhaaga, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

If you do not want to be bound by the Terms, you must not subscribe to or use our services.

These Terms and various other policies are binding as per the provisions of the Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 formulated under the Information Technology Act of 2000.

In these Terms, references to “We”, “us”, “our” means “RuiDhaaga” and all its affiliates.

“You”, “user”, “customer” means any individual who accesses or uses the website or purchases from it. References to the plural include the singular and vice-versa.

Eligibility & Legal Capacity

By using our Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must transact on your behalf.

RuiDhaaga reserves the right to refuse or cancel access if eligibility criteria are not met.

User Account, Password & Security

You may create an account to make purchases. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your password and for all activities under your account.

RuiDhaaga shall not be liable for any loss arising from misuse of your credentials.

Product Information, Orders & Payments

All product images and descriptions on the Site are provided for guidance. Minor variations in color, embroidery, or texture are natural and reflect the handmade character of each piece.

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We accept orders upon payment confirmation.

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and may be updated without prior notice.

We reserve the right to cancel or limit orders at our discretion (e.g., in cases of pricing errors, unavailability, or suspected misuse).

Payments are accepted through secure online gateways that comply with RBI and PCI DSS standards.

Shipping & Exchange

Shipping timelines and charges are listed in our E Commerce Support Policy.

Due to the nature of handcrafted products, we do not offer returns or exchanges or refunds unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.

Any request regarding damages or incorrect items must be supported by an unboxing video from package opening.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, including product images, text, graphics, logos, videos, software and artwork on the Site, belongs exclusively to RuiDhaaga or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use them without our explicit written permission.

Responsible Use of the Website

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes or to harm others.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code.
  • Copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any content or data.
  • Misrepresent your identity or act fraudulently.

Limitation of Liability

However, RuiDhaaga shall not be liable for:

  • Delays caused by third-party courier partners or technical issues beyond our control.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.

Representations, Warranties & Indemnity

You warrant that any content or information you provide (reviews, submissions, etc.) belongs to you and does not infringe others’ rights. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RuiDhaaga and its team against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of this Agreement.

Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or technical failures.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.

In case of any dispute, both parties will first attempt to resolve it amicably.

If unresolved, it shall be referred to a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seated in Kolkata, West Bengal, and conducted in English. Courts in Kolkata shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Grievance Redressal

As required under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, we have appointed a grievance officer to address customer concerns.
